12/10 - Heavy Metal Charm School

Learn how to take blank pieces of metal and make beautiful unique charms for your projects.  We will learn how to use the very versatile Sizzix Big Shot to emboss our charms with cool designs.  Then buff and color until each charm sparkles with your creative vision.  There will also be head pins and beads to make additional charms to add to your charm collection.  

Material Fee covers various metal blanks and jump rings, head pins and beads.  To make a cool charm necklace, chains available for sale during workshop.  Great Gift!!

1/15/12 Little Spinner Tin Book-Box

Kim's lovely "what's the next creative
project & who is it for" spinner book box

Take a chance and give it a spin!  Decorate an empty "Altoids" tin, inside and out, and attach the spinner on top.  Make and decorate your accordion book, just the right size to fit in the tin with daily “food for thought” contemplation or journaling, fortunes for fun, “will I get my wish?”, “my luck today”, creative writing tool,  chores, exercise, “what’s for dinner”, etc.  It can be a fun way to, get your mind off work, encourage creativity, create a little discipline or just make a decision.   Easy to duplicate for all your friends and family.

1/29/12 Useful can be Arty Zippered Pouch

Edie's Beautiful Zippered Pouch

Working on fabric feels good and when you have a beautiful, useful zippered pouch when you're done... well what could be better?  Using relief printing techniques, simple appliqué, and painting, decorate an 11" x 6" (size may change depending on availability from vendor) canvas zippered pouch.  It can be filled with anything, art tools to make-up (I use mine as a camera case).  A great, versatile gift!!
